Job Description:
-Load, unload, and transport construction materials, including pavement marking supplies and signs.
-Prepare, clean, and maintain work areas.
-Operate and maintain thermoplastic striping equipment for road striping applications.
-Drive and operate a Striper Truck during paint striping/thermoplastic striping processes.
-Install and remove heat tape, temporary, and permanent reflective tape.
-Operate equipment for removing pavement markings.
-Perform mechanical repairs on equipment.
-Transport materials and equipment to job sites using company trucks.
-Clean and maintain grinders and paint machines.
-Install, remove, and reset delineators, signs, posts, and supports.
-Conduct shop work, including equipment maintenance and repair.
-Perform overnight travel between work sites as required.
-Aptitude and experience in preventative maintenance equipment, vehicle, and diesel mechanics.
-Reading/writing ability to comply with road signs, complete paperwork, and knowledge of federal motor carrier safety regulations.
-Good knowledge of state and local roadways, experience with operating delivery vehicles.
-Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds, knowledge of safety procedures for securing and transporting cargo.
-Ability to work overnight and travel between work sites.
-Work primarily performed in an outdoor environment.
-Must pass background check and drug screening per DOT regulations.
