Job Description: ✨
- Lead mechanical engineer for the Vinyl Fluoride production facility.
- Provide technical support required to maintain day-to-day production activities.
- Provide guidance to various teams for continuous improvement programs involving mechanical systems and general plant production needs.
- Develop and implement improvements projects (cost and capital) to plant mechanical systems that contribute to business and company performance targets.
- Monitor product and process performance; assess reliability of operations and implement solutions.
- Lead Root Cause Failure Investigations for mechanical and process failures.
- Use of Six Sigma methodology to evaluate process and equipment data to identify and drive process improvements.
- Work directly with other technical resources in the business to continuously improve mechanical systems across the supply chain assets.
- Identify and maintain Process Safety Critical equipment and processes.
- Participate in and lead Process Safety Management programs including Incident Investigations and Process Hazards Analysis (PHA).
Job Qualifications: ✨
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in industrial manufacturing involving rotating machinery, piping, and vessels.
Preferred Qualifications: ✨
- Process Safety Management (PSM) experience.
- Experience leading Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA).
- Six Sigma Greenbelt certified.
- Experience specifying and maintaining rotating equipment.
