Job Responsibilities: ✨
-Support team by safely providing solutions to ongoing automation issues
-Develop code for new systems
-Train the site electrical team to be proficient with automation systems
-Work with IT to ensure the security of our systems.
-Work with the Operations, Maintenance, and Finance teams to propose and implement solutions to challenges in the steel making process and business.
Job Qualifications: ✨
-2-4 years of Electrical Engineering or Computer Science degree or equivalent work experience
-2 years of experience with industrial process control systems including DCS, PLC and SCADA based systems (combination of school plus work experience).
-Proficient in database programming languages
-Proficiency with data analysis tools & Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
-PLC (Allen-Bradley preferred not required) ladder and block programming & troubleshooting experience.
-PLC communication protocols: Ethernet IP, Modbus, etc. experience.
-Human Machine Interface (HMI) such as WonderWare or WinCC experience.
